Only A Update.

So my plan with this is sort of working, ha ha! It will teach me discipline and working on a deadline...I have never been good at self discipline, which I have found in the past was not a good thing!
I guess I can use my excuse of "I am leaving for Italy on Monday for three months so I am a little distracted." and in all reality its true, I am leaving for Rome on the First of March to study Art History, but seeing as I have so much time on my hands I think I can do a little Blogging during this week,
The Good news is on Friday and Saturday I am going to two Plays so Reviews will be coming! but do to the Italy trip I doubt I will have time to go to many shows unless I make it to London and see some plays like Love Never Dies (the dreaded Phantom Sequel) so I think this will turn into A Journal of that experience.
This I guess has just been a update to where I am and to get something posted. I do look forward to sharing my experiences in Italy on here and hopefully by the end of the week I will have at least two reviews up as well!

A New Start!...About me.

I'm not really sure why but I have decided to start this. Well I do know why, I want to be a critic of theatre, even film if I like it but first I must improve my skills of writing and critiquing and also I want to get my name out there. So I am using today’s best source to do so, the internet! I guess I should tell a bit about myself.

I am a Geek and proud to own up to it, I love reading writing and theatre, mostly Musical Theatre but I am branching out. I have written one romance novel and constantly have a story in my head. I cannot go in to a bookstore or library for a limited amount of time because I get too distracted wondering the shelves forever, I am happiest in a place of books and/or a theatre.

A Theatre to me is a sacred place; it should be as respected as a church. Everything from the people milling around waiting for the doors to open, to the hushed silence as the lights begin to dim and the strings in the pit start warming up sends chills down my spine. I love being in this environment, whither I am a patron or in the hustle and bustle of the back stage I am happy here.

I am obsessive. There are stories that I love that I can relate for all sorts of reasons. (And I plan to share them with you in due time) If I latch on to a story I can be very obsessive and I learn as much as I can about the story. Thus my title, Crazy Phan is me, I am a Fan of a lot of things but the one that holds in first place for the longest time is Phantom of the Opera, so I write Fan, Phan in respect for my obsession and I know am not the only one.

So you know a little about me and what I plan to do here. But it maybe the ramblings of a girl bored out of mind at times but I do plan to use this to critique the shows or the movies I see and maybe the books I read. Let this be my new project and see where it leads me! Wish to join me? Read on!
